Design & Build

Ian Martin has been involved in the design and build of many prestige and specialist construction projects in the North West.  We have developed a close working relationship with a number of Architects and can provide a design team who are able to fully satisfy the individual needs of the client. We are experienced in developing individual residential housing through to commercial establishments.

One of these prestige projects is the design and build of the ‘Archive Centre’ - a local building which is attached to Ashton-Under-Lyne Library.   The changing times and increasing demand to provide storage space by local authorities and education services required our design and build service to develop a bespoke accommodation for Tameside to store their local history archives. This now provides an individual storage space and accommodation meeting the highest specifications of temperature and moisture control, which store many important local documents and preserves an important part of our heritage.

In 2005 we began work on the design and build of our own office development.    Working with a local architect and our own design team we have created a quality, modern office development which has made a great improvement to the site and the local area.
